A meta wristband has been developed by H2L Technologies, a Sony-backed Japanese firm. The technology would allow users to experience sensation and weight of self and other objects while simulating physiological movement in the virtual environment.

Electric simulation is used to move arm muscles and replicate sensations such as squeezing your skin, squishing a ball, or gripping a weight! According to Emi Tamaki, CEO of H2L, virtual pain will transform the metaverse into a real-world environment with real-world immersion and presence. The evolution of haptics technology is creepy!

Emi Tamaki had a near-death experience due to a heart ailment when she was in her early teens. This is when a seed of an idea germinated. She devised a method for simulating and linking bodily experiences with computers! By 2029, the haptic technology researcher hopes to free humans from all geographical, physiological, and temporal constraints! With its diverse set of technologies and tools, H2L will make the idea a reality.

Humans will soon be able to dwell in the Metaverse, as previously reported. The corporation is investing in the next generation of virtual reality, which will include immersive technology that includes sensation and even scent! Humans will migrate to the metaverse in the near future, according to Zucker!

While this may appear futuristic to the uninformed, we now live in a digital ecology where information and data are constantly circulating around our displays. We have already moved into Meta’s cocoon in some way. Only time will tell what will emerge from Meta’s chrysalis.

Tamaki, on the other hand, feels that this technology will allow people with chronic crippling ailments like her to travel anywhere, at any time!
