According to two recent job listings on its employment website, Apple (AAPL) is searching for a creative director and an art director with Web3 experience.
One of the posts is for an associate creative director candidate who has "demonstrated interest in interactive platforms and Web 3.0."
The other, for an art director position, required "passion for experimentation and creativity" and "demonstrated interest in Web 3.0," however, Apple has subsequently withdrawn the listing from its website.
However, a version that has been republished is still circulating on the Internet. Both positions are for the company’s retail interaction and marketing division.
Apple is hardly the first company to seek crypto-savvy personnel. The corporation sought a crypto specialist to head partnership efforts for its payments team last spring.
Apple has for a long time maintained a mysterious relationship with cryptocurrencies, never making any public pronouncements regarding its intentions to enter the market. These are the only two entries on Apple’s job board that reference Web3.
