Robert Leshner is a San Francisco acknowledged entrepreneur and innovator, and he is also recognized for founding the blockchain organization Compound. Leshner is a Chartered economic Analyst who graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Leshner is married to Tubular Labs founder and leader strategy officer Allison Jenny Stern.
Leshner co-founded Safe Shepard on October 1, 2011, with Geoff Hayes, a provider specializing in eliminating private information from companies that sell it by scanning the internet and personal databases. During its investment rounds, the enterprise raised $629,000, with its remaining seed round being held in 2013.
In August 2017, Leshner and Hayes released Compound. This open-supply interest fee protocol is constructed on the Ethereum blockchain. Since its funding rounds, the company has raised over $33.2 million, generally from venture capital organization Andreessen Horowitz. The company’s token, COMP, hit an all-time $231 per token, making it one of the growing DeFi (Decentralized Finance) network pillars.
