How did the concept of a blockchain-based game come to Nguyen Thanh Trung, founder, and CEO of Axie Infinity:
“I disliked blockchain. Before Axie Infinity came out into society, people frequently mentioned bitcoin prices and ICOs. At that moment, in my eyes, no one wanted capital to develop blockchain initiatives inappropriate ways. Some people consider ICOs merchandise, which is the opposite of my professional ethics as a technology engineer. At some point, I was curious when hearing about a game constructed on the blockchain platform, and I tried it and found out that blockchain isn’t always as bad as I had imagined before. The key lies in the way you enforce the technology. I decided to offer it a try, and Axie Infinity was created. When the game started getting friendly responses from the network, I decided to stop my current job to pay attention to the project. Axie Infinity was created by four co-founders, such as Tu Doan, a co-founder of Lozi, and me. The other 3 are Aleksander Larsen from Norway, Jeffrey Zirlin from the United States, and Andy Ho, a co-employee at the old organization. I met the two foreign co-founders through the blockchain-based game we played collectively. Later, we no longer met each other face to face however worked online. It was the beginning of Axie Infinity in overdue 2017 and early 2018.”
The enterprise has a quantity of AXS, but the amount of tokens is locked. The locked tokens could be step unlocked to ensure the dedication of the enterprise and those to the project.
The developers of Axie Infinity have 21 percent of the overall delivery of AXS tokens. The organization is keeping 17 percent, while the four percent is used as an advantage for developers.
Of the overall capitalization value of $2.4 billion, they’re keeping $500 million only. The figure suggests the price of the tokens the team is holding and does not reflect all the costs of Sky Mavis.
